to receive things like horoscopes and jokes? Usually there's commercials on tv that say to text a certain thing to a nuraber. I've tried with a few and NONE of them work. Anything I can do? Or is this how it is for everyone? :confused:
 
Text the word Horo along with your sign to "Yahoo" 92466 and it will send back your horoscope. You can also use Yahoo for

Zipcodes, Directions, Definitions, Stock quotes, and Wifi locations.

I use Google as well for weather and movies.

is there something you can do to get other types of information on your phone? See, there's this show that I watch and they now have a thing where you can receive pics and things about the show on your phone. But this darling little cell phone company isn't "participating in this event" lol
 
DepenRAB on your phone and the show you watch. My wife watches a lot of WB shows, and that stuff is only available to Verizon Wireless or Cingular customers depending on who's sponsoring it.
 
it's a text message. I get my horoscope, the weather and my favorite stock quotes every day. On Jump it's free texting. On Cricket, it's whatever you have for texting on your service.
 
I seriously feel like going down to cricKet and telling them off :doh:

all I wanted to do was download some wallpapers and ringtones from my favorite show....I don't know of any other place to download this stuff because the show's in spanish :mad:

I asked my friend to download some stuff onto his phone and to send it to me. Too bad my phone can't download it. :crying:

I'm wanting Cingular right about now :rolleyes:

well I'd transfer them from the computer but I have two small issues...one: you can't save the wallpaper because it's not the actual size and there's a copyright thing on them :mad: and two: I'm having trouble with bitpim lol :D
 
Your welcome ! Now how about a return favor? If you really "freakin love me" lol how about sending me a bitpim backup of you filesystem so I can get to work on fixxing mms and wap for those of us with non cricket hanRABets
