...going 15-20 over? ok so here's what happened....bout 2-3 months ago i received my first speeding ticket for supposedly going 91 in a 65. unfortunately, i happened to be at the wrong place at the wrong time! there were two cars racing and i guess they saw the officer clocking people and the guy on the right cut off the truck in front of me causing me to swerve into the next lane behind the other racer. i'm guessing the officer clocked the honda and pulled me over instead.
the officer handed me the ticket and stated my court date and time and also mentioned i didn't have to go to court unless i felt like i needed to plea my case. after reading my citation in fine print it clearly stated b/c i was under 21 and it was over 24mph the speed limit i had to go to court. i was confused by the officers statement and the written citation.
about a week or so later i received a letter from the court saying my offense had been dropped to 15-20mph over and my fine was $150 and i didnt have to appear in court. at this point everything made sense. i planned to plea my case but after receiving the letter i didnt feel like dealing with the court so i payed the ticket and got over it.
now, two days ago i received a letter from department of driver services revoking my license for going 26 over and not showing up to court.
my father called the court and they said the letter i received stated my offense was 26-30mph over and i had a mandatory court appearance even though the letter i received specifically said it had been lowered.....
what should i do?!?!

i have all papers, receipts, letters....EVERYTHING!! i just don't know what to do....i work 6 days a week...i sorta NEED my license. i feel like a horrible kid! i've never been in any trouble! i dont like feeling like a convict!
