I'm a freshman in college at a community colelge now and debating if I should stick with the easy road or the hard road. I am passionate about science and does very well in biologyan . But chemistry, not so much. I know you have to take it to prep for graduate school if bc i want to enter a dental school or be an ob/gyn. I want to transfer to johns hopkins for a bachelor in biology (if i even get accepted there...) so would jhu pr grad school be more wow with a chem major with like average gpa vs a biology major with a high gpa???

My denal hygienist said he wants to be a dentist but can't because his got rejected and told me that they look for chem major over biology major. For example, would they choose a chem major with 3.4 gpa over biol major with 3.4 gpa? because it's harder and more chalanging? I'm worry that everything will be too competitive when i graduate and a bilogy major will be worth nothing to me. Also, can't do physics major because that's out of my league. not smart enough

And also, I can do all the schooling in the world so time is not one of my factor to worry about.

wow, I never heard such things before. Based on my experience in my country, Biology is rather important then Chemistry. Usually biology is isolated from Physics. So, there are two choices, physics or biology? Chemistry is an element between both. I believe, you still have the chance. So in your case, Physics is already out from your mind. Hey friend, you scored the important one! No need to worry. Maybe that friend of yours have less merit, this does not mean your chance is close already. Good luck
