Can Bamboo grow outdoors in Minnesota?

I'm wondering if there are any bamboo species that can grow in the cold of Minnesota.

I originally thought no, they live in the jungle, but the I thought: China has cold winters too, maybe it can.

Any Ideas?
 
Had small bamboo in NC, but the winters are fairly mild. Don't know if the yearly climate in Minnesota provides the correct climate for bamboo to grow.
