can baby cottontail bunnies eat quecombers once they are able to eat grass?

Can baby cottontail bunnies eat quecombers? i gave my little bunny a small piece and she died the next morning. i gave her grass, lambears, (type of leave like lettus leaves) a little quecomber, the kitten powder formula with water, and water. she seemed fine but in the morning i woke and and saw her twitching and squeaking. it looked like she was choking. but what was she choking on? are quecombers poisonis to bunnies? please help!
 
I assume you are asking about cucumbers and just cannot spell.

Vegetables from the grocery store have pesticides on them that are toxic. If you are going to feed anything from the store, buy organic and wash it and remove the skin.
