I ask this cause I need to enter my time for work when off site, but i wouldn't use the plan for anything else. However i have a smart phone and ATT wants to charge 30$ a month for it, but with a regular phone and my family plan it would only be 10$. I was given this phone as a present, and it wasn't subject to having a data plan, i just swapped sims.
Can att tell a smartphone from a regular phone on a unlimited family data plan?
