I was only on Ativan 1mg per day for about 2 weeks, before that was on .5mg for about a month. Then I weened off over the course of 3 weeks (might have been too fast). I know everyone is different, but this drug was so physically and mentally addicting... I was only on it for a short period of time and felt the hangover/withdrawal was a nightmare. I have been off of it for about 3 weeks now, I feel a lot better, less anxiety etc. I do take 100mg of Effexor per day that is slowly helping.
The one issue I still have off and on is this jittery feeling in my head, restless legs (always shaking my knee if I'm sitting, or if I go to bed I am twitching my feet a lot). Sometimes it's hard for me to get to sleep, it feels like I had 2 cups of coffee, when I don't drink coffee anymore
this seems to come and go, overall it does seem like it is slowly fading each day, I just have never experienced this before and want to know if this is normal and that it will go away in given time.
I took Effexor years ago , and it worked very well for me. I only had anxiety issues this year, for the 5+ years I was on Effexor anxiety never existed it felt, only depression here and there.
