I was diagnosed with breathing problems by a pulmonologist, but since he was worried about me being stigmatised for insurance purposes, he never put asthma on my diagnosis. My lung function tests were at 75%.

I was on an inhaler for prevention for a year or so. I have since stopped using it. I also had severe anemia at the time.

I feel like I can breathe fine now. (I never had wheezing, even when I had breathing problems.)

Does asthma go away or was this something else? (ie since the anemia has been resolved, maybe it was due to that?)

Thanks for all replies.

Hard to say if it's gone forever, but you'll definitely have perioRAB of good and bad times. I was feeling great and on almost no meRAB 4-5 years once, then things got bad again. SounRAB like you have things under control for now.
