Can artificial rum be used in daiquiris?

I can not drink real alcohol because of the medicine i take. it will cause bad reactions. but i do love the taste of a strawberry daiquiris. Can artificial rum be used?
artificial rum is used in cooking. i like the flavor. but would it taste alright in the drink
