I recently bought a game from iTunes and after downloading it on my ipod the left side of my screen wouldn't respond to my touch. I decided to turn my ipod off and turn it back on, but I haven't been able to turn it back on yet. I tried holding the top and home button, but nothing. When I plug it up to any computer it says the USB has malfunctioned and it can't recognize it. I plugged it up to a wall charger to make sure the battery wasn't dead and the light turned green on the charger to let me know it was fully charged. I still can't turn it on.
I'm still under my warranty and Apple says just turn it in and if they can't fix it I'll get a new one. Does Apple have a way of knowing that it's jail broken eventhough my ipod doesn't turn on or will they be able to turn it on? And if they do turn it on some how, will everything be erased so that they can't tell or will it still have everything I had on it?
