I want to go to art school and become an artist, illustrator/painter. I'm very good with working with paint, and somewhat decent at drawing-ups and downs, mostly that it's hard to put my mind to paper. If I go to school will it be a waste of time? Is art only for those born with the talent? I love art, it makes me happier than anything else, I'm decent, and more than willing to give it my all. Is this enough for me, or shall I fail? I'm just nervous thinking about going to an art college and being worse than everyone there and never getting better.
Can anyone who's somewhat talented in art become an artist if they try?
