The culprits of many broken windows in Waco were caught last night about 11 p.m., police said.
Two 17-year-old boys were found after Baylor police received a report of a broken window at the Jack’N’The Box on W. University Parks Dr.
Police found a slinig shot and several quarter inch, .38-caliber BBs in the car.
The shot fired through the window of the restaurant almost hit an employee.
"It is possible that if someone was hit in the right place it could cause serious injury or even death," Detective Stewart of the Waco Police Department said.
The boys were arrested and charged with deadly conduct, a class A misdemeanor punishable by a jail term not to exceed one year and/or a fine up to $4000.
The boys were taken to Waco Police Department were they confessed to several other related crimes.
“They copped to everything from the Lindbergh kidnapping to Jimmy Hoffa, including every one of these window incidents.” Det. Jon Stewart says.
