Can anyone tell me which is the best frmaework in php? Symfony or Drupal?

i want to make an project in php .
my one of the friend suggested me to create it in symfony
and another friend suggested me to create it in drupal framework
i m confused please help me...
and also tell me the advantages of both if anyone knows...
