Looks like a really juvenile N. tretocephalus (5 bar cichlid)

Heres some links

Bare in mind most pics youll see are of adult males....very different to a juvenile form.

Heres a juvenile male

This one looks only slightly older then yours

Although i could be wrong, its just what it reminds me of. There is way to many ciichid species out there its quite confusing, Anyway i hope i got it, Best of luck Angel

EDIT: Highly doubt its a convict guys..it only has five stripes and its too 'slender'... Also think both pics are the same species, just the second one is a little older (hence the blue tinge)

Its an African Cichlid, not sure the scientific name though. Just google African cichlid names or pics or go to any website that sells them and you can find it out.

This is a good link

Definitely cichlids! The first one looked like a jaguar cichlid at first and those are awesome beautiful fish that get real big and their lower jaw starts to stick out alot and they get real big sharp teeth that stick out BUT then I saw the #2 pic and I think that one is a zebra cichlid. Either way I hope you take good care of them they are beautiful fish! Lucky you! Yup, I looked at that first pic again and I swear it looks like a baby jaguar cichlid! Keep him away from aggressive fish cause they are not too aggressive them selves unless they are full grown and have a mate with fry to defend. That other one that I said looks like a zebra type cichlid will eventually get very aggressive.
