HI there
My hubby is 46, and for the past 6 mths-1 yr he has started to have slurred speech, not really over the top, but he has to repeat himself alot. he also has tingly/shaky feelings in his legs . I have also noticed that he seems tired alot of the time and also that he has mood swings, seems depressed almost.
Can anyone help?? I am really worried as his dad suffers from Cerebral atrophy which seems similar, but I dont know if it is hereditary, I hope not, and I cant find much about it.
I have finally managed to get him to see his GP this wk!
Would love some thoughts!
:(
Thanks
Li

Some nutritional deficiencies can cause symptoms similar to your husband's..For instance, magnesium deficiencies can cause include irritability, anorexia, fatigue, muscle twitching, insomnia, poor memory, confusion and apathy; a mag deficiciency can cause problems with the heart and the cardiovascular system.

People who don't eat enough leafy green veggies, dark green veggies, fruits, and nuts sometimes experience these symptoms...as do people who abuse alcohol. But those are just 2 of several reasons people short themselves of mag.
