can anyone recommend hiking/travel pack?

i will be traveling through costa rica soon and need a hiking pack. we have a max weight limit of 11.3kg per person and will be hiking for around 8km per day for two weeks and some more in the two weeks after that. i would like a travel pack with a detachable day pack if possible.
