that accept Jesus' historicity plz
? The historicity of the empty tomb is beyond doubt since the Markan narrative itself, had it been a myth, would have spectacularly described Jesus’ actual exiting of the tomb – as the later fable Gospel of Peter does – instead of so primitively lacking legendary embellishment and Mark would have changed the discoverers of the empty tomb from the women to the disciples if he wasn’t speaking the facts since that would have been much more appealing, for female testimony was rejected in 1st century Jewish society and women were highly looked down upon.
So the tomb was empty, but WHY?
The only people that knew the location of Jesus’ tomb, due to their participation in the burial, were the Jewish authorities and Jesus’ family, yet these were the least to have wanted to steal the body and would have certainly reproduced it once the claim that He resurrected started to be preached by the disciples, and of course Jesus’ family would have known about it before the disciples went public and therefore wouldn’t have feared punishment from the authorities.
The Resurrection, unless one predenies the Creator and rejects the scientific evidence that Jesus couldn't have survived the crucifixion in the form of a coma (and no, I don't deny the scientific evidence for Evolution ;-D) , is the only explanation, for what else appealed so many Jews and Greeks alike to a faith whose god was a Galilean carpenter from Nazareth that suffered the most shameful method of death?
Still yet to be refuted. That makes me even harder for Jesus
