...think it is written in a dictation? It is suppose to be a brief summary of a phone call between an agent and a client that covers the major points, discusses the call, the actions that were taken, and be written as if you were pretending to be the agent and by these notes another agent or a client could review it and know what happened clearly. Do you think my answer would be appropriate and well answered?
Please Let Me Know How You Feel Honestly, Thank You!
My Answer:
I answered the phone with a "thank you for calling", my name, and politely asked their name in return so that I may reach them on a more personal and professional level.
A client called wanting to book a hotel on-line and she needed it to have two beds. She was unsure if the room that she picked would have what she needed because the only information given said that they were "standard rooms" and she didn't know what that meant.
I apologized for not being able to have any further information other than what is on-line but gave her my best advice and told her to call the hotel directory and to also make sure that it says specifically two beds, other wise it is based upon availability when you check-in. This way she knows that she is getting exactly what she needs and so that she is satisfied.
After I know that she is satisfied and has everything that she needs I "thank her for calling", and say "goodbye"
