In example, not House, not Artie or Becky from Glee. I'm looking to view the representation of disabilities like chronic illness through someone with something more like MS or Lupus. Specifically an autoimmune disorder if possible. I'd like to write a paper (and possibly my senior thesis) on how disabilities without visible factors are a form of performance such as "passing" but we need a case study (specifically television if possible) and I don't have a television, nor do I really watch TV and therefore I am not aware of characters who would suffer from any of these conditions.
