My mid-term assignment for a college level drawing class is to write a 4-page reaction/critique paper on one or more pieces of art (preferably a painting or drawing as opposed to 3D artwork). The teacher specifically mentioned this paper is to be a personal reaction to the artwork, not a biography of the artist (i normally wrote about the artist in previous similar assignments because i had no idea what i was doing and needed to fill the required page amount with something!) If anyone has experience with art critiques and can either give me examples or pointers for my own work, please share?? thanks in advance!
