Bend the tabs on the castle washer back, remove the prop nut and thrust hub/washer, and pull off the prop. If it is seized on the shaft, use penetrating oil, a gear puller and a hose clamp to remove the prop.

Undue the big nut on the shaft. Remove the washer with the tangs on it. If it has a cotter pin, remove it,then there is a thrust washer that should come off and the prop should come right off, if it doesn't put a 2x4 in back of the prop and hit it with a mallet. Do not for any reason hit the prop itself, you will damage it. Sometimes they pop right off and sometimes they will fight you all the way.
