My son goes to Uni full time and has 2 jobs trying to support himself. He is only 20 and is making himself ill because of this. He is an example of how most people would like their kids to turn out. However he is losing weight and becoming ill with all of his efforts. As i am a disabled pensioner i can not help him much. Does anyone know of what or if scholarships or financial help is available. He is now very depressed also - i am so afraid he may do something to himself. If anyone can put me onto the correct road to find this info out - u will never know how appreciative i will be. I thank u in anticipation. I am so scared for him
this question is for NSW Australia

Has he filed his FAFSA?
That will help some . . . based on what you said of yours and his situations, I assume he'll get a pretty good deal.
Has he spoken to the Financial Aid office at his school? They will be a better resource than strangers on the internet.

Aside from all that--
I am going to school right now on student loans. The interest rates for student loans are better than almost any other kind of loan, and the terms for forebearance and deferral are usually quite good.
That way he can focus on just his school work, or maybe school and one part time job, and worry about paying it off later.
So long as he sets to paying off as much of his loans as possible as soon as he has a full time job out of school and lives on the same small budget he did in school, it shouldn't take him very long (2-5 years, depending) to pay it all off.
