im thinking of writeing a book
but what are some pros and cons
and is it worth writeing one?
if you wrote one or are writeing one
what are your experiences with it?

I am a amature writer. It is so worth writing it! Once you capture the feeling of the character(s) you just can stop! Bad stuff is it takes a while to find your style. Good thing is, once you find it is so easy to write forever! I you want to really put effort and time into this, go find your style and write girl WRITE!!!

i write because I write, not because I've weighed any pros or cons. Anyone can learn to write, and to market, but if you're only considering writing because of the "worth" of it -- you aren't a writer.

I am writing one but I'm not focusing all my time on it. I still do my regular stuff but when I come up with somehing, I add it. It's been 1 month and I already have 102 pages. (which is pretty good for someone like me) Since you dont know if it'll be published, don't dedicate all your time to it, because there might be disapointment.

Pros: $, its YOUR work/style/writing.

Cons: It's going to take a lot of time, and there is always the possibility that it won't pay off in the end.

Just write what you think is nice. Writing is a form of art and art is not always appreciated by everyone. Writing is also one of those things which you get better at by doing it.
Try posting some of your stories on Internet and see what other people think of them!
There are a few things which are very important in a book/story. Those things are good grammar, good punctuation, good spelling and a logical plot (this last one mostly for yourself, so you don't get confused while writing)

It's worth trying. I don't understand what you mean by pros and cons. Writing a book is writing a book. It's not like there's no going back. You could start and never finish it if you really hate it (ha, I know from experience).

But if it's really something you want to try, definitely try it. But try to have a plan first, or at least a general outline of your story. Everytime I didn't have one of those, I felt lost and my story never got finished.
