dogs????!!!? my german shepherds name is lily we got her in october she is a great dog and i love her to death, but soon after we got her, my mom got a dog as well, her name is kya. she is a shar-pei mix and is a special needs dog, and twice now lily has attacked her...not in a "i want to kill you" way thank god, but in a dominant way.
we are now possibly welcoming another dog into our home( we have plenty of space and acres for them to run and play on so you dont have to worry that were making a bad decision getting another one. he is a border collie named max. so the point of this whole post is does anyone have any tips on how we should go about doing this? or any advise on how to help her aggression? the last thing i want is for that dog to come in to our home and get bit...so yea can someone help me??!!!!
yea i no who ceaser is i always watch his shows ive learned alot from him. and no its not over treats or anything we havnt figured out what exactly is causeing it whether its jealousy or dominance or something i dont know...and the only reason we might get another dog is because i work at the shelter in my town and i get to know the dogs pretty well. he is a great dog that has had a sad history and some dirty nasty looking guy brought in that smelled worse than the dog whos white fur was brown..he has grabbed my heart and i feel like i want to be the one to make him happy again. but of course we would let my dog and him meet with her wearing a muzzel just in case...ya know...to make sure it would even work out
