can anyone help me remove civilization 4 from my pc?

I tried playing after installing a patch and it said it couldn't find some .dll and when i tried to uninstall it it came up as an error and said that i wast still using it even after restarting my computer. i went the long way and deleted the game's program files, because it worked once before on a separate thing. I'm thinking about reformatting my computer unless someone can help me fix it. I really want play it again.

Were, try to un-install the game through Add Or Remove Programs coz thats the best way to un-install a game/software.

Well when it give some error that .dll is not found, it is related to DirectX.

Download the latest directx from microsoft website. Then install the game, and try to run the game. You might fix the problem.
