a) Will the apple reach a friend in a tree
house 4.0 m above the ground?

1. Yes, the apple will reach 2.17808 m above
the tree house
2. No, the apple will reach 1.62411 m below
the tree house
3. No, the apple will reach 1.48058 m below
the tree house
4. No, the apple will reach 2.17808 m below
the tree house
5. Yes, the apple will reach 1.62411 m above
the tree house

If anyone could kind of show how to solve this problem, it'd be great.
