First off, I'm sorry this is so vague. I can't remember much.
When I was a child (about early to mid '90s), I had a book I really liked that had dinosaurs in it. It was in the first person, and I believe it was told and illustrated from a perspective where the reader could insert themselves into the book. It may have even had a place to write your own name in it. It was about a kid that somehow went back in time (perhaps a dream?) to when dinosaurs lived. I think the kid was guided around by an archaeopteryx throughout the book, and the archaeopteryx told the kid about the different dinosaurs or the world or something like that.
Does anyone know of this book? I'd really like to find it again.
