I remember hearing a crazy story on the the news a while back about a teenager who left home and stole some cars or something and lived on his own for a while and successfully evaded the authorities for a long time. I remember them describing him as a real life "robin hood". or something like that; and that he also had a facebook fanclub. does this ring a bell?
