Can anyone help me figure out what could be wrong with my 96 Toyota 4Runner?

The cruise control and horn no longer work and now the light for air bag is on. I dont know if this makes a difference or not, but prior to these malfunctioning things the clock and the lights to the gear shift were not working as well. This is a 96 SR-5. Any knowledgeable answers appreciated! .....PS...We did change out the fuses...it didnt make a difference at all. All ofthe above are still dead!
 
From what I can see on the schematics it looks like either J\C 3 or left side dash ground. Both share some of the items you mention. The junction connector 3 (J\C 3) is left side of dash. The clock does not share this. The clock and Cruise share "Center Junction Box" "near steering column tube".

i would say start pushing connector in or tugging on them to see if they are loose or come out.
