Recently my comp has started to have some major issues which are hard to explain just in txt but ill try my best. First off my comp is a Dell Dimension E520.
Normally when I boot up my computer now usually anywhere from about 2-10minutes it will kind of freeze up. Not a normal freeze up where nothing works because I usually can still move the mouse around and double click on stuff and select stuff but nothing happens when I do that. One comparison it reminds me of is when I leave my comp on for long periods of time and everything starts to slow down and piece by piece stops working. I went into the bios and tried to revert it back to original settings but that didn't do anything, I don't think its a virus but i did manage to get norton to do a full scan yesterday before freezing up and it found nothing important. A couple times ive had the comp actually do a full crash and say it was dropping its physical memory. Also one observation that i believe Ive noticed is it sounds like its processing way more info then it used to before, before it crashes of course then it goes completely silent. Anyone with experience with computers know which hardware is dieing on me? or is it something else? Please only respond if you have a legitimate hypothesis thank you
