Every time you star a question in Yahoo! Q&A as interesting the asker gains a point? So every star has a point?

Well, I never heard of this before, and its seems more a proverb than a riddle, so maybe (these are nothing but guesses) it means:
^every person has his/her own style, talent or way to follow
^ everything has an end
Assume 'star' to be a person, and 'point'... well, it could mean ending point, (point of) talent or uniqueness, and so on. You could have given the sentence/context where it was used...then perhaps it could've been easier to understand...
