can anyone describe what the wound of a cat clawing you would look like?

---if it was rabid and swiped you as hard as possible once
how deep would the cuts be
how many cuts would there be? (how many nails do they have that contact when scratching)
how far away are the cuts?
would you notice a feral cat doing this to you walking home?
chance of rabies? % wise
do lots of cats have rabies in the us
would it likely be infected?
 
hhhmmmm...? you are either checking up on someone's story or about to create your own....important fact--you don't get rabies from a scratch---it would have to be a bite...you pass it thru saliva--I haven't come into contact with any rabid cats in the us...so i'm guessing rare....i would say you'd get only one long scratch--(know this from chasing my cat around the bedroom trying to give him worm meds...i was dripping blood-but each time he only got one claw into me at a time...) but i did end up with both arms scratched up--if the cat were outside--they'd swipe once...
