1. Name the brightest star in the known universe.
2. What is its magnitude?
3. Are the brightest stars low magnitude or high?
4. How much does the brightness of a star change with each change in magnitude of one?
5. Do a search on the internet for "brightest stars" and make a top 10 list on your paper of the names of the 10 brightest stars in the known universe and their magnitude.
6. What color is the brightest star?
7. What color is the coolest star?
8. What color is our sun?
9. What spectral class of stars is the hottest?
10. What spectral class of stars is the coolest?
11. What spectral class is our sun?

sorry, but the only way to do this sort of question is to review your class notes, your textbooks, and research other sources, as needed. it's rote memorization.

our sun is spectral class g2v, while the hottest stars are spectral class o, and the coolest are m.

"brightest stars" is ambiguous. brightest by absolute magnitude? brightest by apparent magnitude?
