So I have been going around and around for 2 months with all these physical symptoms and seen several doctors and specialists and nobody can find anything wrong with me. Before the original "pain in the back like someone had punched me" back in January I was fine. I have had a lot of stress within the past year, car has broke down 4-5 times, running out of money, cant get a job due to economy, dad died at 53 in June and I live in a city where I dont want to be in a house with my mom, son and brothers and its chaotic being here with them all non-stop. I dont even have any frienRAB here where I live.

I will list my symptoms, they dont all happen at same time but I've had them all. Started with pain in my back and the feeling like I couldnt breathe, followed by shaking and fear (anxiety from pain in my back). I had the breathing and shaking difficulty EVERYDAY and couldnt even leave my house. I was given Valium as a short term and it helped alot but my dr wont prescibe anymore of it. I got really sick for a week in January to the point where I was in bed, couldnt eat, low grade fever.

After that I got better but developed acid reflux that just got worse and worse. I was put on aciphex and zantac as needed and that seemed to help at first. Just before my last period I had all the PMS symptoms (never had that before) and my anxiety type stuff got worse. Well as period came they got a little better. A few days later I was eating a subway sandwich and felt as if a piece of it got stuck in my chest, I had pain in my chest everytime I ate. I then completely lost my appetite, felt sick to my stomach, burning in my stomach, sinus like headaches, low grade fever again (99.4 or so), with my blood pressure and heart rate skyrocketing (150/95 and 110) which is NOT normal for me. I was put back on just 1/2 a betablocker and that took care of my blood pressure but heart rate is still high and still have other symptoms. I have seen an ENT and he did a small scope in my nose/throat and said all he saw was swollen sinuses and a clear throat. I have had CT of chest/throat, barrium swallow, 2 chest xrays, gallbladder study, several blood tests/cultures, ultrasound of almost all the organs in my abdomen (in Feb) and they said everything is completely normal, my white blood cell count and electrolyte levels are great.

Well STILL in March I feel like crap, cant eat, sick to stomach, low grade fever, burning in stomach, cant sleep because of pounding in head and chest when I lay down and get really shaky randomly. I was given ativan and it doesnt really make any difference. I took vicodin last night for pain and it didnt even let me sleep. I dont know what to do anymore.

Anxiety can cause all sorts of unwanted psychical symptoms, and what you're talking about sounRAB like to me what I used to go through, and sometimes still will. If you've been to the doctor and they've said everything is ok, then everything is ok. I've gone through the same tests you have, plus a CT scan of the head, and everything checks out. I just have to remind myself that it's all a symptom of anxiety and I'll be ok. Have you been to a psychiatrist? And not all meRAB will work the same for everybody. For example maybe Ativan isn't right for you and you need Klonopin or Xanax instead, thats up for a doctor to decide. But it's the same reason why for some people Tylenol works better than Aleve and Advil. Different compounRAB in the medicines, but have the same effect in different people. Try reading some books and anxiety and depression to clear your head. Also what works a lot for me are breathing techniques so I can calm down more easily. Oh, and lastly for relaxation, look into self hypnosis. All these things can really help you out, just try to reassure yourself everything is going to be ok!

I have horrid PMS pain, cramps, abdominal pain, gasping for air all the time. I've been tested for everything. It's anxiety. I am in the same boat. I wish I had some advice to give you -- I have been reading some books and just trying to control it or take it down a notch.
