I work in a kitchen and im a bit of a sweatier guy. I shower usually 5 minutes before i leave my house and use all "proper" hygiene techniques. Well the antipersperant doesnt seem to help much because i still seem to sweat quite a bit. and im getting the reaction from my co workers that i stink. Ive tried multiple antipersperants with no luck. I dont smell anything and i went to a doctor and they didnt smell anything althogh at that point i was still feeling "fresh" no sweat or anything. I was thinking that maybe my body chemistry is better off with a type of alternativve deoderant or scentless deoderant. also as i grow up i only seem to start sweating more and more any reasons for this?

Try different brands until you find one that works for you.

Do you wear after shave lotion or anything with an odor, if so they may be interacting with your chemistry.

i dont use aftershave or anything else with an odour. the problem seems to be coming from my buttock area. ive tried putting a layer of cornstarch to absorb the sweat although it doesnt help. I even asked one of my closest friends if i stink and he said no, although when i hang round my firends im more relaxed and that means i sweat less or im doing less strenuous activities. the problem also gets worse when i drink. i already know that drinking increases sweating. its gotten to the point where it affects all aspects of my life like sexually and socially. does anyone know of an unscented antipersperant for men?

If the problem is around your buttocs, try using an antibacterial soap in th shower (such as Safeguard or Dial) Lather it up, leave on the skin for 30 seconds, then rinse.

Afyer you have dried off, dust on some Amens Medicated Powder - this helps keep you dry, and helps stop odour causing bacteria from breeding on the skin.

Mitchum is a great antiperspirant, and is avaliable unscented.

Believe it or not that is a very common problem for men and women alike. First make sure it is an antibacterial antiperspirant(not just a deodorant) There are several names out there but most have the same active ingredient so you need to pay attention to what doesn't work for you pay attention to the active ingredient in the kinds you are buying. Keep trying different ones with a different active ingredient and you'll find one that works for you... Like Ban the active ingredient is;Aluminum Zirconium Tetrachlorohydrex Gly 19%. That is the only kind that works on both men and women of this household so pay attention to what the active ingredient is. Then there is spray on , roll on, dry.... it only matters is what the active ingredient works and who cares if it is touted for men or for women if it works then that is what you need. To name a few are;Secret, Old Spice, Degree, and Soft and Dri check to see what the active ingredient is in each like Right Guard as active ingredient;Aluminum Chlorohydrate 8.2% that doesn't work for the males in my family. so pay attention. Good luck ...if you don't find the right one yes you will smell funky.
