Can an Xperia Play be used on Cricket Wireless? (Verizon Edition)?

I might get an Xperia Play for christmas, and I want to know if I can use it on Cricket. It is already unlocked, so no need to flash. But what if it isn't CDMA, or if it just somehow doesn't work? Can you please help me?
