My neighbor had a pool built in the full length of my house just a few yards from our bed rooms. In fact its much closer to my home than his. The noise was bad as soon as the pumps were turned on. They suck and vibrate day and night. The noise completely envelopes our house, there is no where inside to escape it. When I asked the home owner if he could possibly put the pool on a timer so we could at least sleep at night, he claims we couldn't possibly hear it running and the burden of proof is on me! He has admitted that rubber mats were never put under the pumps, nor were the pumps tightened down to muffle any noise. He drinks hard alcohol a seems to have forgotten telling me of these neglected details. The whole house vibrates, I have to go to a friends or rent a motel room to get any rest.The constant vibration rattles my brain stem and pupils. I have been admitted to the hospital twice for vomiting. {once I start I can't stop on my own} " I simply can't afford the motel and hospital bills. 25,000.00 was the 1st hosp. bill. We have been sleep deprived for more than a year. The neighbors seem to have all of the rights while we pay year round for their summer recreation. The home owner has been rude and unbending. Is there an agency that can help me ?

Go to Radio shack and get a sound meter,it will measure the level. Then U will need to have a police as witness to pump on to pump of.
