Can an LG Dare be used on the Verizon inpulse prepaid service?

I have the service where you have to ad money by prepaid cards and my friend has a dare that he's is planning on giving me when he upgrades. but the service seems to be lacking in several of Verizon's features and i just wasnt sure if the phone was compatible with the limited service
