Can an illegal alien sue a business?

My mom hired an illegal alien- unknowingly- he provided false documentation, which we just found out. Now he's saying he hurt his shoulder and has obtained a lawyer. Please tell me this jerk will not receive one penny.

I'm not a lawyer, but I believe he can sue your mom. Just because he is an illegal alien he still has the right to be injury free, and properly taken care of at work.
