Can an Army Intelligence officer have a combat role in a platoon or are

they only support? I'm completing my package for OCS and I am still torn between making my number one choice a Platoon Leader or MI. Are there jobs that might be a mixed, for instance as a MI officer could I be assigned to a combat platoon or be part of a Recon Unit?

I want to be an Intelligence officer but I would like a combat field role as well. Probably won't matter because they need pl more.
