Since birth, I have had flat feet. They do not bother me except when I'm on them all day. When I was a teenager, my doctor ordered custom foot orthotics for my feet, which made being on my feet all day much more bearable. Yesterday, I broke my ankle, and it was xrayed. I was told to return on Monday for a cast. Can the cast be put on over my orthotic? Do you think it will delay the healing process?
