Can Allergies Suddenly Swing into High Gear?

I'm more than sure I am allergic to dust mite excrement, I first noticed a few months ago, and since then it has been very mild. Until recently (not environmentally has changed) but now it is so bad I can't breath from my nose and my nose drips a lot.
 
Absolutely. After a drive thru W. Texas in a convertible, I awoke after a nap at my destination with a face so swollen I looked like a pumpkin with slits for eyes. Ask your pharmacist to recommend an over the counter antihistamine.
