Can Allah (SWT) cure me of my illness?

Salaam, everyone! Happy happy new year! :-D

I've had this disorder for a long time now, since I was 8 years old. Al hamdulillah, I know it can be much worse. I just started getting treatment for it. My New Year's Resolution is to get better insha'Allah. I know I have to be patient, but do you think if I keep praying and seeing my doctors, Allah (SWT) can cure me of my illness?

Yes sister, Allah can cure any illness if he wishes too. I read a story yesterday about a sister who got cancer and was expected to live only 3 more weeks. Worse came to worse so her and her husband went to Mecca. Allah cured her of her cancer and fast.
Did you try zamzam water? It may help.
I have an illness too, genetic and no known human cure for it, and I make dua that Allah cures me. Try to watch so you aren't commiting a sin though.

Think of Mary. She got pregnant without intercourse~all by Allah's will. With that in mind, yes, he can cure your illness if he so wishes.
