my friend had some dogs at his house and his landlod did not give him a written warning nor a chance to move the dogs he told him he had 10 days to move The dogs were not on the new lease but the old landlord did say he could have dogs the new landlord is a a hole i thought u had 30 days

Hi,
I'm trying to understand the exact question you are asking here. It seems like the past landlord allowed dogs but the new landlord does not. I would assume that if the tenant's original lease allowed dogs that the new landlord must accept the dogs as part of the lease (as least, that is what I have seen in my experience). If he does not accept the dogs, then he should offer the tenants an option of either leaving (with, as you said, at least 30 days' notice) or the possibility of charging a deposit for the dogs that could be returned in the end if they did not cause damage.
