I have had a sore thoat off and on for about a month, it feels like its one spot on my tonsals is sore at other time its worse. I also feel pain in my chest and down into my stumach. And if it isn't what can I do? I don't have insureance.

Until you get seen by a doctor I would watch your diet closely. I would get yourself some Tums, Prilosec or something like that nature. Try to destress yourself. But see a doctor when you can just to get checked out. Good luck!

It can certainly give you a sore throat.

There are tons of posts on this board about this. They may be able to give you some helpful ideas. Try searching using the term "LPR".

LPR has symptoms that are involving the throat or breathing vs. the heartburn or lower symptoms.

In addition to watching your diet, wear loose clothes around your waist, sleep with your bed at an incline--6 inches up is more ideal, sleep on your left side, try some OTC medications. In addition to the ones listed above, supplementing with Gaviscon can also help some too.

Some people have luck with Apple Cider Vinegar. There are some good threaRAB on that as well.
