My Friend Gerrit he told me that last month when he was on vacation in austria they have been climbing a mountain named Similaun.
But they did not even made it half way up to the checkpoint they focused on because they had to return after the wind got so strong that Gerrit almost has been blown away...In his own words:"The wind was so strong, i tried to walk against it and escape to the sheltering rocks but the wind was like a crazy bull aiming at me, i was completely exhausted ..it pushed me backwards to the abbyss and i already thought i was lost feeling helpless against the force laid upon me until finally two of my friends grabbed me and helped me reach the safe side of the wall"
Thats what Gerrit told me and he gets a little angry when i mock him for that story but i really just cant believe that..i mean ok.. a kite ..up in the air..could make a man loose ground but a simple wind cannnot blow me off of a mountain when i have both feet on the ground and face the wind and walk AGAINST it. I faced very strong winds before myself and i am sure they can not knock me off my feet.
