Can a Verizon phone work on Boost Mobile?(or what phone can)?

I was just wondering if a Verizon phone can work on Boost Mobile if you unlocked it..Ive been told AT&T won't work on Boost Mobile,but can any other phone company phone work?

Or is Boost Mobile only compatible with Boost Mobile no matter if its unlocked??

and is it true you cant get an unlocked at&t phone to work on verizon?
