can a US student get financial aid for studying abroad in england?

Hi I go to a community college and I am VERY interested in going to england next semester, except for the fact that my school doesn't offer anymore more money than the required amount for classes. The total amount will be around 12000 dollars. if anyone could help that would be greatly appreciated thx
