Can a US Marine have the same job all throughout his military career?

If a marine stays in the military for 20years is it possible for him to keep the same job and the same place the whole time? My boyfriend is in Aviation and He is stationed really close to me and his parents. If he does more than his 4 years can he keep his job and the location of it for how ever long he wants to stay?

he will advance and add responsibilities

no one stays at the same duty station their whole career its just not possible

you also need to understand your boyfriend is going to deploy
and unless your married you wont be his next of kin and you wont get any benefits
