I am a relatively new legacy Customs Officer on tripple A (AHW). I have never really understood it.
I have a current agreement from 1 April 2010 to 31 March 2011. I have received a new AHW contract today stating it's valid from 21 Nov 2010 to 31 March 2011 and it is considerably different. My weekend hours have been increased by almost 100 per Sat and Sun and my flexibility has been decreased from 55 changes to 25, but I have already done the 55 originally required. The % pay has been increased by about 0.2%.
Do I have to change to this new contract or can I refuse and stick to the original? As stated the original one states it's valid until March 2011.
The management are saying they're reducing the flexibility requirements to increase the weekend hours, but can they do this if I have already done the amount of flexibility required?
Any help greatly appreciated.
